How much does it cost to register?
FREE! It is free to register to either player's or DM's registration.
How long is Dead Wars World Record Event?
Dead Wars is about 4 hours long.
Mall Doors open at 9:00AM to sign in and find your table. Dead Wars Campaign begins at 12:00PM and goes until 4:00PM. We leave an hour left to finish up the game and leave orderly.
Can I just watch the event?
Yes of course! We are live streaming the event and in person spectators are allowed to freely watch the event, but seats are not a guarantee for spectators.
How long is registration open?
Online registration is open until April 15th, 2023. Which is a week before the event starts.
However, if you didn't register online in time. You can still register in person all the way until the day of the event at the front desk, if there is a seat open. (Not 100% guarantee.)
Can I play with my friends/party?
Yes you can! During registration, there is a section to add your friends/party members. If you also have a DM with your party, there is also a DM preference you can add in too.
We will link your party to a table.
I have a DM preference. Can I play with a specific DM?
Yes! During registration, there is a section to select a DM preference. If you also have other players with your party, you can also add in your other party members.
Can I make my own character?
Absolutely, we are looking for a Level 5 character, with 1 uncommon magic item of your choice.
Mods or unofficial magic items are not allowed.
Is there anything I need BEFORE the event?
A week before the event starts. We have Table Packets that your group or one person, can pick up before the event and look over your Table Packet for the Dead Wars Campaign.
A digit copy of your Table Packet, will be sent to your registered email.
I will be late! Can I still enter?
Yes, doors are open for the entire event!
Will I need to bring my own dice?
You may being your own set. However, We Geek Together will have plentiful of colorful dice you can purchase at the event.
What if we go past 1000 Players and 200 DMs?
We accept every Player and DM registration, however, seating and table are not a guarantee. So get your registration in now before we can no longer fit everyone in.
When and where is Dead Wars happening?
April 22nd at the Provo Towne Centre Mall in Provo, Utah.
I don't know how to play D&D, can I play?
Absolutely you can play!
We have several pre-generate level 5 characters with 1 uncommon magical item (WOC sources only), for any player.
If you would like to experience a D&D One Shot before coming to the event. We Geek Together offers a couple of One Shots at the Geek Together Tavern at the Provo Towne Centre Mall.
What should I bring to the event?
Grab your dice, character sheet, and the best Dead Wars Costume you can create!
If you don't have any of those, We Geek Together offers everything you need for the up coming event.
Can I bring my medical prescription?
Yes, you may bring your medical prescription. If you have a medical condition you will like to be known. You can let one of the crew member know about at the sign in desk.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed. However, we welcome service animals that are individually trained to perform work or tasks for a person with a disability. All service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. - Provo Towne Centre
Will there be breaks in-between the game?
Yes, a 30 minute break will be given to the table on a cycle.
Where some players are waiting for another table to take action. They will be given the break. All tables have been preplanned and prepared to when they take breaks from the game.
Can I switch seats with another player?
We have dedicated tables to seats with every player registered.
However, if a table becomes unruly, staff will intervene. (Removal from premises can and will be enforced.)
Will there be food/drinks?
We are hosting the event at the Provo Towne Centre Mall, which as a food court that you can order from anytime.
I am registered but I am going to show up late, can I still play?
Yes, you can join in on the table you are assigned too, however you will not be counted in the world record. If you would like to have participated in the World Record, make sure to show up on time.
